"GARBA" Navratri festival

The Girls Hostel celebrated the beginning of the Navratri festival by organizing the annual Garba Night event on 30 September, 2016. Anusrava, meaning Vedic tradition, was the theme of the celebration for this year.  Embraced by the presence of the Director, Heads of Departments, Deans, Section In charges and faculty residing in the college campus, the celebration began with the divine recreation of Ganesha Vandana followed by meticulous performances of songs, dance and skit by the hostel students. Games for the faculty and children added to the exuberance of the enjoyable evening. The popular Miss Garba contest was contested by the 2017 passing out students through rounds of introduction, question answer and showcase of talent and judged by senior faculty members. The titles Miss Personality and Miss Talent were also added this year. The Director Dr. R.K. Agarwal felicitated the title holders.
