Admission Process For B.Tech Programmes

 Admissions through UPSEE Counseling: 

Admissions to I & II Yr. B.Tech. are done through Combined State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) conducted by the UP State Technical University, AKTU, Lucknow.

  • The minimum qualification for B.Tech (Engg.) is intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
  • The minimum qualification for II  year B-Tech (Lateral Entry) is three-year engineering diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture.

minimum percentage of marks, reservation, domicile requirements etc. are available in UPSEE Information Brochure.

Admissions directly at College level:

The College has surrendered its MQ/NRI seats to the University for Inclusion of the same in UPSEE Counseling. However, admissions shall be taken by the College against few vacant/ lapsed/ dropout seats only after the UPSEE counseling is over.  

For admission against vacant/lapsed/dropout seats, the candidate should meet the following eligibility criterion: 

  • Qualified in UPSEE - 2017, JEE Mains, Entrance Exam conducted by any State Government or any Entrance Exam conducted at a national level with a good rank.


  • Based on marks in PCM and Graduation for B.Tech Course respectively. However, such a candidate shall be required to apply on a portal to be opened by the University for the purpose at an appropriate time.     

All students desirous of admission against vacant/ lapsed/ dropout seats shall be required to fulfill the eligibility criterion as stated above. Students fulfilling the eligibility criteria may collect the Application forms free of cost from the College main gate. Forms can also be downloaded from College website
